The Civil Engineering Science and Technology Journal (CESTJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah. The journal aims to disseminate original research and scientific reviews in the fields of Civil engineering science and technology, with a focus on innovation and practical applications that advance engineering knowledge especially Modern sustainability methodologies.
CESTJ aims to contribute to with the rapid propagation of scholarly work by offering writers with a faster publication process and increased visibility among a worldwide audience of engineers, scientists, academics, professionals, and stakeholders from many sectors.
This multidisciplinary platform is designed to assist individuals involved in the research, development, and application of structural, geotechnical, water resources, and construction management engineering principles in academic institutions, industrial settings, governmental bodies, and consultative or policy-making organizations. Engineers, academics, consultants, economists, policy advisers, and business decision-makers are among those who read this publication.
To be considered for publication, submissions must display scientific rigor, methodological soundness, and clarity of presentation. Conclusions must be supported by detailed and rigorous data analysis. The editorial review prioritizes originality, relevance, and possible effect in the field. As a result, CESTJ supports the submission of niche research, exploratory investigations, and publications with non-confirmatory or negative findings, as long as they contribute substantially to existing knowledge.
The journal’s extensive subject coverage enables an integrated approach to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research. Submissions must be sent to CESTJ for exclusive consideration.
Subject areas include, but are not limited to:
• Structural Engineering
